Yacht vs. Ship:
A Yacht is a boat or a ship made for recreational purposes.
A Ship is a big vessel that is used to sail on lakes, rivers or seas. A ship is bigger than a boat and can carry more cargo and more passengers than a boat.
So a Yacht is a water vessel build with modern amenities that will give the vacationer the option to sleep, cook and enjoy his time on the water and it can be called a boat or a ship depending on it's size.
