I bought a 2011 Accord in June and have 1800 miles on it. I keep getting notices that it is due for a checkup. Is that necessary with so few miles on the car?

Some manufacturers recommend a service in the first thousand miles or so to check the cylinder head bolts and to make sure nothing as moved also an oil change consult your vehicle handbook for details and check what is stipulated in your warranty details regarding servicing it may be an integeral part of the warranty not keeping the vehicle serviced to the manufacturers satisfaction may void the warranty
