the converter is actually called a toque converter. it lives in between the transmission housing on the output shaft and is boted to the back of the engine mounted on the flywheel which is attached
to the crank shaft . it transfer trans fluid to creat a smooth motion and the smooth transfer of trans shifts . anyway you would probley notice maby a not so smooth tranfer of motion .. From top notch..
