    what is appropriate for a grandmother to wear to her grandson's wedding. It is a formal wedding. Will a cocktail suit be appropriate or should I wear something long.

      I think if the invitation states formal it would have to be long, however also take the venue and time of the wedding into consideration, if its an early wedding a cocktail dress may be o.k, but really I would stick with long
