Time zones and their respective locations on a map can be seen at http://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/

There are 24 of them. There is one every 15 degrees longitude, although there are variations in some of them, due to politics, etc. Interestingly, 24 X 15 = 360, the number of degrees of the earth.
