      Go to your council offices and ask them they should tell where the local social service office is and make you an appointment .They will then assess you

            Just a note on this subject.


            Don't expect to get approved the first time, it usually takes 3, and don't go to a lawyer as if you are dissabiled you will be accepted. 


            They may send you a letter that you need to meat before a Judge, just have your info. And letters from your doctor. I got the letter and then got a call saying the check will be in my account soon, and they went back to my first time that I applied. I never had to see the Judge
