    how can i stop windows installer from trying to find and install photogallery on startup of xp?

    problem developed suddenly about two weeks ago. don't have photogallery file and don't want it.

    submtted as "computing - other" category!!

    It sounds like there is a broken link. You could do a Search for anything resembling Photogallery,(ex: Photo*)and delete the file(s). Or, you could get a PC file cleaner that will remove the broken link(s).

    First check to see if there is a Photogallery program, and uninstall it.
