      No, you will be fine because they have many new procedures out there which enable people to walk and live normal lives. One of them is.......they mortor  your vertebrae together, so your spine is stable and durable. My friend's wife had that done, and she was home the same day . She had a lot less pain after that. It worked out well for her.
