      It would help if I knew what caused it, what age you were diagnosed, if it was idiopathic, congenital, or neuromuscular.


      You have an uneven musculature which will put pressure on the lungs.


      However, if this is NEW you need to see your doctor for a possible infection.


      Have you had surgery on you back? This is a complication to surgery.

        No. Though I guess if the back problem was so severe. You could possibly have problems breathing, thus making your throat sensitive and raw. Causing coughing. Though this would probably have to be very severe.

          Scoliosis shouldn't cause coughing, you may just have a cold....
