    I don't have a back or forward button on my tool list

      Go to "view" then "toolbars" and make sure "navigation toolbar" has a check mark next to it.

        alt+right arrow will take you forward
        alt+left arrow will take you back
        If you want your tool back click right button on the frame of the browser and pick "navigation toolbar" from the menu.
