Hi Colleen,I have never used a Garmin GPS but of all the brands that I have heard spoken off most seem to say Tom Tom.
I leave for London next Tuesday and I have downloaded the UK maps onto my Tom Tom to take with me. That is one thing I have found, all brands do not have maps for all locations.
Probably though most of the better known brands are much of a muchness.
