      My Grandfather is still alive. I will be devastated when he dies. He is not my biological grandfather, but he married my grandmother before I turned a year old so in my heart he is my real grandfather.  He took me under his wings when I was a baby and he has held my heart in his hands ever since.  He's a wonderful man with a heart of gold and he has the most unique sense of humour.  I can't explain it, but his humour is  one of a kind. :)

        I never knew any of my grandfathers, I had three. Divorce makes bad bedfellows………..

          I only ever met both of my Grandfathers once when I was very young.I never met either of my Grandmothers.
