If you tamper with an approved company P.O. (as in purchase order) to change anything, you are committing fraud! And as such, charges could come your way, not to mention job dismissal from the company, and a record which may make you unemployable. Blanket P.O. to my knowledge does not cover fraud, it allows some flexibility of amounts to purchase without the full process of waiting for the processing of the P.O. but I may not be fully correct on that policy, but the first half I know is fraud.
