Velocity is defined as the rate of change of displacement.
i.e. Velocity = Displacement / Time taken [ in meter per second i.e. m / s]
Note: Remember! When we deal with the problems, the speed or velocity both come in same sense, so you can use the same formula for both speed or velocity
i.e.Average Velocity or speed = Total distance covered/ total time taken
