    Does incarceration have a proven base in which to give reason for continued use?

    Yeah, it keeps rapists, murderers, pedophiles, thieves, the scourge of society off the street, for a time anyway. What kind of homework question is this anyway? What ninny would actually ask the question, are prisons good? Are they worth having? Duh!

    Incarceration does not prevent repeat offenses once the "person" is released, it only works while the offender is incarcerated. Castration, however, saves the public the cost of housing and the fear of another VIOLENT attack

    Won't you just ask a man that did 20 for armed robbery ? see how he feels about going back..!
