      , I've known cats who have quite liked water and many of those who haven't, and the ones who did were almost all raised close to water and taught from a young age to play in it. There may be some nature to it as well as nurture, but I'm guessing it is mostly nurture.

        Who ever said cats don't like water.My daughter had a cat that we couldn't keep out of our neighbours pool.

            There are just certain breeds that do like water, Maine Coons for one.
