      My cat Molly would stand in the lake water up to her tummy when it was hot. Very unusual.

        Because they are terrible swimmers but will swim to save their lives. Never throw a cat into water. It's mean.

          it depends on the breed of the cat the Turkish van cat loves water and there are few other breeds that like water but on general most cats hates water its to do with thier coats they arnt as water proof as the dog
