If you haven't upgraded to Yahoo Beta yet, just log in to your account and an email from yahoo will be waiting for you with an invitation to upgrade to the new version. Also you'll have a yellow icon on your main yahoo mail page saying "Upgrade now" on it.

Hi, Well, I finally managed a permanent upgrade. All previous attempts had worked, but only until I logged off. When I logged on again it reverted to old version. But ok now.
