Go to the business office of your local hospital and ask them if they have a Legacy Program to help you with the hospital bills you can't afford to pay. If you qualify for the program (low income) they will pay the bill in full for you and wipe it off your record. The process will take about 4 months. It's worth a shot! (pun intended)
