Yes it is all legal but I don't want to have something happen and I don't have anyplace to live. He has four children and he disinherited them all in the will and my two also. It was notorized with two witnessed by two of my grandchildren I was not even there. Just want to know if I should get an attorney and find out, I don't want to wait until I am grief stricken to make any important decisions.

As long as he was of sound mind and he has a physician who can back that up. I do not see an issue. Family members can fight the will, even one drawn up by a lawyer. Unless he's super rich, I do not see that happening. They would need attorneys to fight the will and that's expense they may not get back even if they were to win. Who did he make executor of his estate?
