Open an Internet browser and go to the AOL registration page by linking on the link below or going to free.aol.com.

Type in your name, address, phone number and email address. Click "Continue."

Select your new AOL email address by typing in the address that you would like to have. Remember that the address will automatically end with @aol.com. The address can be 3 to 16 characters and consist of letters and/or numbers.

Type in the AOL account password you would like to use. The password must contain 6 to 8 letters or numbers. Retype the password and click "Continue."

Read the service terms and click "I Agree."

Choose the brand of credit card you would like to use to pay for the service. Type in the card's number and expiration date. Click "Submit Order" to activate your AOL Internet service account.
