        I agree, a gift card from walmart, so he could buy new things that are his only with no memories of their life together.Or if you can afford a get away, maybe a small group of friends could go somewhere together and just have fun and remind him that he didnt loose everything.

            If he's happy about the divorce, a cake with a hacksaw showing a cut off leg chain attached to a ball (representing freedom from the ball and chain) and beer to wash it down :)
