2. Then, by question,
x % of 400 = 1
i.e. x /100 × 400 = 1
i.e. x = 1/4 = 0.25
So, the required percentage is 0.25%.
Note: For the instant method,
Do like this,
Make 1 as the numerator and 400 as denominator and multiply the fraction with 100%
i.e 1/400 × 100 % = 0.25%
