Mothballs work. Use yogurt or sourcream containers and poke holes. in lid. Scatter around fence or borders every 2-3 feet.

I've heard of putting moth calls in the garden.  I hate the odor, it would work for me!

My other half's Mom (who is now 91) used to put mothballs in her old pantyhose and put in her garden...I never did ask her if it was effective and for what type(s) of critters!...(:

Interesting though. My cat poos in my neighbor's yard...

i have heard of putting dry pepper flakes on the ground. the cats don`t like the odor. i really don`t know if it works.

Heard this one too....don't know if it works...seems like it would be effective until it rained...then get out the pepper flakes all over again!...(:

Yes mothballs are the answer but as josie said lions poo really does work and if you cant get it I think you can get off the internet good luck

One extremely effective method is to put big cat (eg Lion) poo in the garden. I live next to a wildlife park and able to source this wonderous stuff. I used to have this problem, now cats won't come anywhere near my garden!!
