    I am looking for a good guitar that doesn't cost much but plays great. can anyone help me?

      Try ebay or craigslist.

        Usually if you go the store, like Dave Phillips or The Guitar Center, there are very cheap guitars that are not listed on the website. I bought a $170 Epiphone SG at the Guitar Center.
