          First and foremost I am not a grammartarian, or is it grammartician , or is it neither?  I fear the latter is the case, they just came into my head almost without thinking.


          I find your expression quite acceptable but your  question as a whole not so. "is this correct grammer",  Better is  "Is this correct grammar?


          I must thank you for allowing me to have addressed your question  which I have enjoyed immensely. 


          p.s.  All you grammar students, don't  all jump on me at once.
