I don't know about mango but a few years ago I developed kidney failure and my renal doctor walked in on me while I was eating watermelon, he flipped out and took it away from me.. I wasn't on dialysis though, I was scheduled for kidney biopsy but suddenly my creatin (sp) level went down and miraculously I recovered.. maybe it was the watermelon..
