When flower has completely died, has drooped and withered, cut it off and dispose of. leave leaves to dry and wither then cut off about 1 inch from bulb. If in ground, its up to you whether to take up or can leave there. If in pot, remove and put in brown paper bag in shed or somewhere cold for next year.
