This is a strong antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of skin. genitals, mouth throat and nail infections etc. quite often given to women for pelvic inflammatory disease - not nice to take - the other name is Flagyl. Treatment should not exceed 10 days - read the leaflet enclosed with the medication and do not drink alcohol while taking these tablets.
