Most definatley .I only travel that way . It is so much cheaper. I allways pay around half the price of what it would cost . Ive used for flying, hotels, car rentals and vacation packages. Here are the ones I use to find the best prices.(and shop around you'll find different rates on all of them)

Travelworm, cheap hotel.com, Orbtz, and Travelocity. And allways call the place before booking to see what rates they wll give you , tell them ou can get it for whatever the cheapest one you found and sometimes they wll match it or beat it. Once you book what ever you want call the place and confirm. you wll be sent an email with your itenerary ( confirmaton number too) 

I usually get really nice rooms betweeen $21.00- to $60.00(suites) Pay attention to the star ratings and look up the place on google too just to make sure you are getting the same informaton about it. I've seen where the place themselves submit pictures that arent so acurate. I usually read reviews ( I would do the same even if I didnt use the discount  sites. Its not the discount  stes  fault when a buisnes owner does those knds of things. BUt all of them will fix the problem (if you have one, I never have had a problem) Takes alttle bit of time to search all the stes but its worth the savings (around $100.00 - $200.00  ) for a few  nights or cars and especally   flights . And you can use other discounts with them like AAA and goverment .
