    Westchester University of Pennsylvania suggests chewing your food 30 to 50 times per mouthful. This will help slow you down, and mix the food thoroughly with saliva to help digestion.



     

    Hmmm...not too many times.

    Until it feels ready to swallow. As CB says as many times as possible and eat slowly - I think this also helps with weight problems and of course digestion.
