    I have a Laguna Power Flo 4500 pond filter, i can't use because water comes from the top. why?

    When I turn the filter on it runs for maybe a minute then water starts coming out from under the lid. How do I fix this?

      need more info about the filer. I worked building pools for awhile. Is it a canister filter if so is the o-ring shot,is the pump pressure to high for the filter.
