    I throw out cold cuts if the date seems old My friends says the meat is good..she told me to give a pices to the the dog.if he eats it .???? the food is still good

      Yes, he will eat it but processed food is good for neither man nor beast. Give him only a few pieces a day. If it smells rancid however, do not feed it to your dog.
