    why does the sound of thunder put me to sleep

    I enjoy thunder and lightening storms, unless they are immediately in my vicinity, but I always fall asleep, even during the day

        I always found the sound of thunder (unless it was along with horrendous lightning) rather soothing...I know I have fell alseep to it before, also I think the barometric pressure thing can make a person sleepy too..don't know really..just a thought (:
