The reason many have come to this conculsion is because in Numerology 12 means the end, but when you add the number 12/12/2012 it equals 11 ..

so the date would have to be the 13/12/2012 for this to be the outcome, many prophets have never mentioned 13 as the number of finish . They base this fact on Numerology, the 12 means a new beginning or the end , but in this case I will see you next year we will still be here same old same old ... so don't waste you money and go having sex with everyone because its a bit like the y2k thing in 2000 it never happened, I am in Australia so if it ends we end a day before if you , so I will let you know :)
