i found a goose egg how do i keep it warm?help!

I found an goose egg that wasvery warm the mother was killed how do i keep it warm with out and incubator? p.s. i have done this before with an incubator

Stabilize the temperature at 99.5F for geese. The relative humidity for hatching goose eggs is very important. It should be 50-55% for geese.

For goslings, on days 4 through 27, the eggs must be allowed to cool for 15 minutes daily and be sprayed with lukewarm water.

Rotate egg 2X per day. Do not continue turning after pipping begins, which is when the gosling begins to break the egg.

Put the egg back. There is always a second parent who will take over setting the eggs. There is a lot of work that goes into caring for an egg. You need to know what your doing and have hours per day to dedicate to it. It's not as simple as just keeping it warm.

my friend has it now she is using a heating pad will that work?

I doubt it. The heating pad may get too hot and cook the egg or not be warm enough to keep the gosling alive.

If it's truly hatching, soak the egg in luke warm water for a few minutes to soften the shell. DO NOT GET WATER INTO ANY CRACKS! You can drown the baby that way.

DO NOT ASSIST THE GOSLING BY HELPING TO REMOVE THE SHELL. It must do all the work itself.

There's no possible way to incubate an egg without an incubator. Also eggs need to be turned 2X per day and misted with warm water to keep the eggs soft for when the gosling is ready to hatch. You really need to research how to care for a goose egg on line to understand all the attention the egg will need.
