Usually you are required to answer 15 out of each 20 or so. Not much room for error. Here is a good free sample: http://driving-tests.org/california/cali…
If you fail the test, you must wait one week before taking it again. This will give you time to study. The fee that you paid first time covers 3 tests only. Once you have used all attempts you'll be required to pay again.
