    My sister died one year and two weeks ago. She left a simple will leaving half of her assets to me and half to my remaining sister

    I spent 30 minutes with her solicitor and provided death certificates.My sister and I sold her house privately and received the money from the solicitor. The solicitor also sent me a cheque for £30. There were no complications in her estate and banking acounts. After over one year the solicitors have not finalised her will- what action should I take ?

      I would suggest you contact the County Judge in your County and ask for his help.  That usually gets the attention you need to settle the will.
