Solubility at a particular temperature is defined as the amount of solute in the particular amount of solvent at that temperature.
In mathematical form,
solubility = amount of solute / amount of solvent × 100
i.e. parts of the solute dissolve in 100 parts of the solvent, is also known as the solubility of the substance at that temperature.
Remember! when we talk about the solubility of the substance, temperature is very important to be specified. It is because the solubility of the substance vary according to the temperature.
Hope this cleared the concept of solubility. Now, share the information with your friends too.
