    Polygon is plane figure bounded by straight lines. For example: triangle[bounded by three straight lines], Quadrilateral[bounded by four straight lines], Pentagon [bounded by five straight lines]and so on. They are named by their bounding straight lines.

    A polygon is a multi-sided shape.  Triangle, Square, Rectangle, Pentagon, Hexagon, Septagon, Octagon, etc. etc.  A circle or oval has no sides, so are not considered polygons.

    Polygon is plane figure bounded by straight lines.
