Not cheap.
I repaired my Canon camera twice by using ifixit.com. amazing the thousands of items they have with pictorials on how to fix the problem yourself. and its not difficult as long as you pay attention to the step by step instructions.
They don't sell parts but you can 'always' find parts on ebay. I buy off of ebay the parts and fix it myself!
