      UTI is caused by bacterial infection.  Bacteria can be passed from one person to another through sex.

            The bacteria that causes them absolutely can,.....  now,  whether any one person's  immune system can kill them off to avoid creating  infection in them is individual,,,,,,,but it's not worth the risk!!!!    Get treated and cured first!
