    why is the sand yellow?

    Sand isn't yellow where I'm from. I've never seen yellow sand. Where are you talking about?

    cause god said so..

    Caused by pollution - chemicals in the sea water.

    In Canada we say if the snow is yellow dont eat it ..so... if the sand there is yellow dont play with it.

    Sand is not always yellow, black sand exists in volcanic places such as Tenerife.

    I drank too much beer

    Crushed rocks .Black volcanic rock gives black sand .


     

    i was in bermuda two weeks ago, but the "pink sand of bermuda" wasn't pink, it was yellow...
