    Why do the moon and sun come up at the same time?

    The moon appears and disappears at different times. If you think back, you've seen the moon at different places in the sky at a given time. The moon may be rising plump and orange just after sunset, or it might be full and bright high in the sky at the same time as the sun has left the sky.
