    My blood test just came back and my white blood cell count is 3.3, my dr refered me to a hemotoligist but its a month away and I'm freaking out now what could it be/

    3.3 is low, it is normal for some people to have a low white count. If it was 1.1 I'd be worried. The normal range is 3.8-10.8.


    7.3 is perfect.


    Your just a tad low, from 3.8. Maybe an infection, or your body is changing due to age.


    There are many blood test to be done to find the cause, not just one. They need to look at you platelet number(count) and so many other things. It's just a little low. The doctor felt you were okay to wait one month for the appointment, otherwise you'd be in the hospital.
