      I boil the water first then place the egg in the water for 3 mins, that way it's boiled but with a runny yolk.

        In order to boil an egg take a small pot, put an egg inside, fill the pot with water, so that the egg starts floating, or becomes surrounded by water (as surrounded as possible), then put the pot with the egg on the stove, and lit it. Once the water are boiled for over one minute, the egg is already hard.
