Yes those 2 year contracts can definitely suck...unless you need a phone constantly you're probably better off going to a prepaid phone....hope this helps....I was stuck with AT&T for the longest time with one of those 2 year contracts that I did not really need....also if you are low enouigh income contact reachout wireless or safelink....you can get those for free....but you must meet those qualifications that they have..........(:
