Charles will not become king until either his mother Queen Elizabeth 2nd dies or abdicates ( gives the throne up volantarily)
that is the way our system works. Personally i would like to see Charle's eldest son become King, seeing has he crapped on Princess Diana by having an affair with the lady to whom he is now married.
