    Community members, something to think about; at 60 karma, new members can begin giving thumbs down. Zeemadman now has enough points from one question just asking how to get karma to begin thumbs downing people. Now if he is not serious about akaQA, the points he has will give him the ability to mess with that karma of active and helpful members. We should wait longer and get to know new members before we give them that kind of power. Just a suggestion.

      You get karma points by receiving "thumb up." The more TU's you get by asking or answering questions the more karma points you will receive.

          You just joined today. The community members need a chance to get to know you before they give you karma. Karma is earned though helpful answers or good questions that make people think. Get to know the members and when they trust that you're here to help others, then you'll see your karma go up.
