Lost my keys to a Pad Lock How do I open it

Hi. I have a boat trailer. I placed a padlock with a 6 inch U on iy through the hitch. I have lost the keys. Is there anyway to unlock it short of calling a lock smith.

Either pick the lock or beat it off with a hammer. Past experience has taught me that both work...
